The Mendocino Complex Fire has reached the size of the largest fire on record in our states history, unfortunately not a record any of us wanted. This crazy thing is almost 300,000 acres burned, Unbelievable!! Keep all of these peeps that are in harms way in your hearts & minds this week and wish then safe return. God bless...

After a week, this bad boy is finally wrapping up at almost 75% contained. These guys have had to endure extreme temperatures here in California but it appears that it's about wind down. This is tough duty at times, but we are thankful to all who participated and all their hard work.

So Freedom Fire Suppression is on the move this evening. We've been dispatched to the Pawnee Incident which has currently burned 8,000 acres in Clear Lake, CA. Please wish not only my guys safe duty, but the Firefighters battling this nasty blaze, and the Clear County residents as well.

The 2017 fire season has wrapped up. It ended with two of the most devastating fires ever on record in this state. There were way too many lives taken and too much property destroyed. Let's say our prayers for a better outcome in 2018.
