Yesterday was a crazy day but God reminded me why he has me at this Thrift store even if it is just for a few more days Just as we were closing At 6pm this evening a young black woman cam in frantically looking for a bedframe for a king size bed. Her mother has been sent home on hospice and she is trying to make a comfortable place for her. She was afraid to get close to me and trued to stay 6 feet back. I could see she was in deep pain and distress so I pulled my mask off and took off my gloves and told her it is ok I am not sick you are safe here can I pray for you and your mom? I reached out to touch her and she collapsed into my arms sobbing. I held her tight to me with her head cradled to my chest and we cried and prayed. I did not have the bed frame she needed but I was there to love her and pray with her.
