Have you ever heard the statement, This is the Gospel truth? Well, here is one: God commanded us to love one another. We do not need to verify if this statement is legitimate. It is in the Bible. The Bible is our guide for life. It was written in its standard form over 2,000 years ago Click www.fjm.org//to-love-someone-unconditionally-requires-no-v to continue reading.
In a time of great need for so many, we have the opportunity to show up in an even greater capacity The truth is - every day, we encounter people who need hope. Some don’t have a bed or even a tent to sleep in ... Some don’t have clean clothes Some don’t have a pair of functioning shoes Some don’t have a warm blanket As they come to our doors to get a cold cup of water, food, or clothing, we remind them of where true hope is found. We share with them the source of all hope - Jesus.
High School students from @capobeachchurch helped us make an impact on Skid Row this past weekend They came out and served lunch, led worship, shared a message, and loved on the people of Skid Row In the midst of schools still being closed in LA, these students found a way to reach out and make an impact that brought hope and light to our streets
We don’t just give them food and other basic necessities, we pray for them We don’t just pray for them, we give them food and other basic necessities Fred Jordan used to always say, You can’t say to someone hungry, ‘God loves you’, then send them away without feeding them.... Our commitment to every person who walks through our doors is to feed and care for them physically and spiritually
For God so loved the world...
