College Connection Academy student, Ksenia, won 3rd place in a national writing competition held by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Ksenia first heard about the competition through her principal, Ms. Katimbang. The essay prompt regarded advances in space technology and exploration in the next 50 years. Ksenia was overjoyed and proud of herself, and rightfully so, as she was a winner out of thousands of competing students. I couldn't stop thinking about it that night and I had to check my email again in the morning to confirm that it was not just a dream, that it was real, stated Ksenia.
