Racial Justice and 100% Voting On Thursday September 10th at 6:00pm, Rev. Carlton Rhoden will be hosting an evening of dialogue on voting and racial justice. This is an educational opportunity to understand various ballot initiatives and what it means to become a 100% voting congregation. Please join us for an evening of faith in action, as our Christian values of racial justice and equity is on the ballot this year! http://fpcsantamonica.org/weekly-sermons/ Tupac and Elvis are alive! A secret organization of highly intelligent mice are controlling the universe and preparing to destroy the earth. Naturally, conspiracy theories like these bring us to Acts 9. Here we discover that Ananias and Judas are alive (well their names at least) following their suspicious deaths earlier on. And Saul is given legal authority to track down and destroy the satanic cabal known at "the Way." Will he arrive in Damascus in time to save us all from certain doom? Only time will tell (if time is even real). Join us this Sunday at 10AM as we continue to follow the movement of God's Spirit through the book of Acts.

Just one more thread... I promise! The last two weeks we've followed the thread of movement and time, noticing God's presence with his people in times of change and waiting. This week we'll follow the thread of rejection, which will move us directly into a story about Jesus' radical welcome and inclusion in Acts 8. Join us in worship on Sunday, August 23 at 10 a.m. http://fpcsantamonica.org/weekly-sermons/
