Sometimes even our staff members get to be kids again. Take time to do the things that make you happy and may the force be with you! #StarWarsDay #May4th
It wasn’t always easy to see their smiles, but you could feel their happiness. Thank you Cross Border Xpress for bringing joy to the children of Hospital Infantil de las Californias!
Today is the last day to donate a toy! Help us reach our goal of distributing smiles to the children who undergo surgeries at Hospital Infantil de las Californias. With your toy donation, every child will have something to look forward to after coming out a much-needed surgical procedure. *Toys must be new with w minimum value of $15, non-violent and not require batteries. *You will receive one southbound ticket for every toy donated. *Tickets expire one-year after the dat...e of the donation. #CBX #crossborderxpress #onetoyonesmile #diadelniño #dayofthechild #vacation #border #tijuana #sandiego #california #mexico
How perfect is this photo for #NationalSuperheroDay ? We are so proud off all the children who come to Hospital Infantil, we know that even as adults it can very nerve-racking to go to the doctor. So many of our patients have to deal with such difficult health issues and nevertheless they rise though the challenge like true superheroes.
Meet Mila: Mila was referred to the Nutrition Department by one of our pediatric gastroenterologists for low weight and gastrostomy tube feeding guidance. Mila was also born with a cleft palate. Modifications were made to Mila's diet such as eliminating... sugary supplements and including fresh food. Her mother was taught how to make a homemade formula which helped improve Mila's digestion, height and weight gain. After weight improvement and better food digestion, Mila was able to have cleft palate repair surgery with excellent recovery. Mila is an example of teamwork with multiple doctors at Hospital Infantil de las Californias. To help more children like Mila get the life-changing care they need please make a donation at www.usfcc.org #CleftLip #CleftPalate #ThankfulTuesday
Thank you Starlight for making children happy. Sometimes a toy can make a huge difference in a child’s state of mind, especially when going in for surgery. Little Emmeth had strabismus correction surgery and a toy waiting for him when it was time to go home
Look at this face! This little girl was born with many disadvantages that made it extremely difficult, almost impossible, for her to maneuver a manual #wheelchair. That day, she was so #happy to receive a motorized wheelchair, she learned right away how to use it. Such a smart little girl with the best outlook on life. I am often left in awe at the #resilience of the children at Hospital Infantil de las Californias. #MotivationMonday #MondayMemories #FortheChildren

#TBT to the time when we did a concert #fundraiser with The Beach Boys and surprise guest John Stamos! #FunFact we found out 1 day before he was planning to come to our fundraiser. Thanks to all our donors we raised over $1.2 million that night and yes the staff made sure to take pictures with John Stamos, I mean... The Beach Boys. #throwbackthursday #charity #nonprofit #lifebeforecovid
