Our phones and Internet are down. After calling our provider, they tell us the whole area is down and they did it have an estimated repair time. So, since we can’t do any type of transaction, we are currently closed. We will continue to check on the situation and if there is any change we will post it here.

We get lots of emails asking us if various guns are on the roster or not. We have a link directly to the roster on our website under the FFL Transfers tab. But, here’s the link that you can save for future reference: https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search Remember, the gun your buying must be EXACTLY the same as the what the roster shows. In some cases, that means even the SKU # has to be exactly the same. Don’t trust the listing that says CA Compliant. Check it for yourself. Know what you’re buying so we don’t have to be the bearers of bad news when you get to the store.

Folks, we just had someone attempt to buy and have sent to us a Short-Barreled Rifle. This is an NFA weapon and generally not legal to posses in CA. PLEASE....make sure of what you are trying to buy before you try to have it sent to us. Our license is worth more to us than a $75 transfer fee. If illegal items....NFA items, what CA defines as assault weapons, illegal ammunition, etc......are sent to us, they will be turned over to law enforcement without question. Know what you’re sending to us before you press that Buy It Now button.

Posting this tonight so you can get a jump on things. We just took in a whole CRAP-TON (an actual unit of measurement, btw) of ammo on consignment. We got in 9mm, .45 ACP, 5.56mm, .308, .30-30, .30-06 and .22LR among others. Please don’t message and ask if we have a specific brand or load or caliber. There is a lot of it. It isn’t cheap and the prices were set by the consignee so we can’t wheel and deal on it. Another please, don’t ask proposition. But...we have it in stock and ready for you to buy and you won’t have to scour the Internet for it.

This is a request from us to all of you. Please....PLEASE.... have proof that you paid sales tax on your out-of-state purchases available for us to see. The invoices or shipping lists that come with your firearms don’t always indicate that sales tax has been paid. And we MUST collect CA sales tax if it hasn’t already been paid. If the seller sends you a sales receipt and it indicates sales tax has been paid, FANTASTIC! We won’t have to collect it. In fact, if I don’t have to remit any $$ to that putz in Sacramento, I’m having a good day. On the other hand, failing to collect sales tax on your purchase can cost us our license and put us out of business. So, please tell us if it’s been paid and, if not, how much you paid for your firearm. Sales tax in Ventura County is still the lowest in the state at 7.25%. Help us to help you. Thanks.

Just a reminder.....Friday, December 11th is the last day to register a firearm and pick it up by Christmas. We’ll be closed Thursday, December 24th & Friday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday. Plan accordingly.
