Fort Crook Museum

We are getting things ready for our Annual Yard Sale. The yard sale will be April 23rd & 24th. We will be accepting donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of April.

Tuesday December 1st, 2020 is the big day. Give to our museum at https://www.northstategives.org/fchs. The donations help maintain the integrity of our buildings such as the jail, schoolhouse, round barn, and the main building. Due to Covid-19 our museum had to stay closed for the majority of our open season. We lost donation revenue due to the pandemic. The donations helps us to maintain our buildings so that we can be open seasonally. Your tax deductible donation will help our museum maintain the buildings so that visitors can enjoy the local history.

Fort Crook has joined North State Giving this year. Please consider donating to the museum and all funds are used for the running and upkeep of the museum. The museum will reopen on September 1st. The Board of Directors requests that all visitors follow CDC Covid-19 guidelines, including washing hands frequently and maintaining 6 foot spacing. Also, please refrain from unnecessarily touching displays. Some upcoming museum events have been postponed or rescheduled. At this time it does not look like we will be having our annual Pioneer Day. Although, we will still be holding our annual raffle. Here is a list of the prizes we have so far, and we are getting more. If you would like some raffle tickets you can contact us and leave you name at number at the museum at 530-336-5110. We also have tickets at the McArthur post office.... The raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
