"Staying at Fred's place was an absolute joy. My expectations were high, based on the rave reviews and beautiful pictures, but the setting was even more glorious than I anticipated, and the treehouse and tire swing (along with dozens of other surprises) even more delightful! Fred welcomed our children (ages 2 and 5) with such warmth and love, and it was a relief and a deep pleasure to be in a place where they were encouraged to explore and enjoy. The farm was a wonderland for... the imagination, and the setting was so calming and grounding for all of us. We loved the coziness of the gas fireplace in our room, the view of the trees, and most of all, the creativity and thoughtfulness and magic of the various bridges, structures and sculptures. Fred and his wife even baked cookies and cobbler and shared them with us! We felt exquisitely welcomed and can't wait to go back.
