If hosting a foreign exchange student has ever crossed your mind or sounded interesting NOW is the time to give it a whirl!!! All you are required to provide is a bed for them to sleep in(they can share a room), meals when they are at home and love! The process is simple! You choose who comes to live with you based on similar interests such as sports, arts, musical, etc. Check it out today.... Learn about another culture and show them what America is all about!!!! We still have students from Japan, Mexico, China, Spain, Vietnam, Colombia, Thailand, Poland, South Korea, France, Brazil, Turkey, Slovakia, Belgium and Italy. message or call me at 209-483-4115

Have you ever considered hosting a high school exchange student? YOU can make a child’s dream come true! Please take a moment to read the letter that Sigrid has written to her potential host family. If you would like to host her for the 2020-2021 school year, message me! 2094834115 Meet Sigrid from Denmark! ... Dear future host family My name is Sigrid. I am a 16-year-old girl, who lives in Denmark. The city I live in is called the sixth biggest in Denmark. I live with my mom, my dad and my two older siblings Astrid and Georg. My sister is 22 years old and my brother is 19 years old. In our family we love to travel and go on vacations together. On our holidays we always like to explore and be active and do a lot of fun stuff like diving, hiking and sightseeing. When I was very little my family and I lived in Vietnam for a couple of years. While my parents were working, my siblings and I went to school and kindergarten. In Vietnam school starts at an early age, but I was only one year old when we got to Vietnam, so I never went to school there. Living in Vietnam meant that I learned how to speak English at an early age. When we came home from Vietnam, we were lucky to have an Au pair, so that we could maintain our English skills even when we got home. My first seven years of school I went to a public school called 'Lyshoejskolen’, only a few hundred metres from where I live. In the seventh grade I decided to switch schools to a private school called 'Kolding Realskole’ to learn some French for beginners. Now I take French lessons twice a week and am learning three different languages in total. I really like French, but my favourite subjects in school are probably math and PE. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and be active. Over the years, I have played a lot of sports. The sport I played the most was badminton, which I played for seven years. I stopped in the ninth grade to focus more on school and friends, although I have begun running sometimes in the morning to continuously stay active. Hopefully I can do that in America too. I am very excited to visit America. Hopefully I will get to go to a great school and meet some amazing people on my journey. If I am lucky, I will get to see a lot of different places in America, because I know there are a lot of cool and interesting places to visit there. I am already looking forward to visit America and am very excited for all the things I will experience. I am especially looking forward to meeting my new host family. Kind regards, Sigrid

**PLEASE READ** I have recently sent many private messages about hosting an exchange student. This is NOT a scam. These are REAL kids, dreaming of a REAL opportunity to live in the USA for 1-2 semesters of high school. I know many of you have read the message that was sent and now I am asking you to REALLY consider this. It is YOUR opportunity to make a child’s dream come true. These kids become a part of your family - it is a ONE time opportunity for them. What’s holding ...you back from saying YES? Most people in this area will never have the opportunity to travel abroad and this is an opportunity to bring another culture to them. We ALL have crazy, busy schedules - that’s OK! The kids adapt to your lifestyle. *Do you have limited bedrooms? They can share a room with a sibling of the same gender *You don’t have an extra bed? I can help you with that! *You want to wait until your kids are older? Why??? This is a great opportunity for them to learn a new language, culture, and to have a big brother or sister that they can look up to! *You don’t have high school age kids? You don’t need to! The kids make friends of their own - you are not babysitting 24/7 - you are loving them like your own. * You don’t have to travel or try to give these kids an out of this world experience- they love experiencing bonfires, s’mores, hayrides, fishing, carving pumpkins, high school football & basketball games, Prom, etc.! Throughout life we can ALL come up with a million reasons to NOT do something but in reality there’s ALWAYS a solution. PLEASE consider opening your heart and home to one of these great kids. IF you have read through this and still feel that there is NO way on earth that you can do this, can you share the opportunity with others? There are 20 students still waiting to hear that they can call California home
