Hey folks, I don't know about you, but these "Holidays" have come way too soon (but not soon enough!!!) this year. Whether you are sad or glad, Foothill Meat Company has a couple of great specials to enjoy this fall season before Thanksgiving: PRIME, peeled (fat removed) Tri Tip is only $7.99 lb. Tender, juicy, yummy - awesome. Marinated Tri Tip is just $9.99 lb. Also PRIME and peeled, you can get several different flavors to satisfy your taste buds. ... Most of the time, Tri Tips are considered the best when grilled, but our chilly weather may not be suitable for you to be outside, so give this idea a try: Season tri tip as desired and put in covered dutch oven or roasting pan. Place in preheated 500-degree oven and roast for 5 minutes per pound (set timer accordingly). For instance, if tri tip is 3 pounds, you would roast at 500 degrees for 15 minutes. Then turn oven OFF. Yes, turn off. One hour later your tri tip will be done to perfection. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR OR REMOVE LID DURING THIS TIME!! Talk about tender and delicious; and super easy!!
