Dear patients, As you may have heard, Governor Newsom has placed a stay at home order for the entire State of California. However, you are still allowed to leave your home to provide or receive medical care. Therefore, we are implementing the following guidelines: -If you feel sick, please call to reschedule your appointment. If you have recently had surgery or have a foot ulceration or infection and feel ill, please keep your appointment but please wear a mask to protect any...body that you may contact while traveling to our office and while in our office. Unfortunately due to shortages, we are unable to provide masks to patients. We do not encourage you to go to the ER or urgent care for your foot condition as they are inundated with possible covid19 patients and you’re putting yourself at higher risk for infection. -If you are over 65 and/or are immune compromised, please highly consider rescheduling your appointment if it’s not urgent. We have implemented the following protocol: As soon as you sign in you are immediately escorted into a treatment room. We are not allowing patients to sit in the waiting room. If the situation arises that there isn’t a room immediately available, we will ask you to wait in your car and you’ll be called as soon as a room becomes available. Each treatment room is completely disinfected between patients. This includes the entire treatment chair, family chairs, counter tops, floors and door knobs. The front desk sign in counter and pen are also disinfected throughout the day. We have hand sanitizer dispensers throughout our office for your use. We are all working together to get through this difficult time and continuing to provide you with quality Podiatric care while protecting you from the covid19 virus. In addition to our usual universal precautions, we are taking additional steps in an effort to help protect our patients and staff from Covid-19. If you feel sick, please call to reschedule your appointment. If you can not reschedule your appointment due to an acute foot condition that requires treatment and you feel ill, please ask for a mask when you arrive and one will be provided to you. In addition, please use the hand sanitizer that is provided in our lobby to disinfect your hands. We thank you for your cooperation during this time.
