Very sorry for the lack of updates in the last week folks, in the middle of a move so things have been very busy. I am pleased to announce that FoodsCo on Northgate currently has over 5,000 units of Crest toothpaste at $0.99 for your couponing needs. Also featured, Colgate toothpaste at $0.99 each. I currently have 5,000 units of it as well.... I know the crest will blow out but if you have coupons for Colgate, I'd appreciate you emptying my stock of it as well. ;) Come on in and clear us out and as always, we'd very much appreciate a "Highly Satisfied" on those surveys!

FoodsCo is currently seeking the assistance of our coupon friends. One of our stores in Fresno is working toward joining the team of coupon friendly stores as they work toward following in the footsteps of our Northgate store. If anyone can provide contact information for Fresno and surrounding area coupon groups you'd be helping expand what we have started here in Sacramento and bring us all closer to a company wide change for the better. P&G will have a featured ad very soon, Downy fabric softener. I'm unsure of the price but I know their will be a coupon with the item. Unfortunately, P&G has announced production issues related to this product and will be unable to supply our needs during the ad. As such, please be understanding of limitations and outages during this ad.... We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

Sacramento area couponers collect the first win in the effort to change the relationship between retailer and coupon shopper! You've heard me say it over and over... those surveys at the bottom of your receipts truly do make a difference! The order has been given! Northgate FoodsCo and the efforts shared with Sacramento coupon shoppers is now to be shared with all 20 of our Northern California stores!... While the order is to only share the information at this point, it does show that our efforts have seen positive gains both for FoodsCo and it's valued customers. Store management will have the information needed to climb aboard and share in the success we've seen thus far. So please, keep those surveys coming! Together we can make positive change!

However, we have taken action and if our plans work out, we will have 500 cases of these razors available by Thursday afternoon. Additionally, we will be able to place no less than one additional order before the ad ends, if not two orders. We will not put orders on hold... please understand, their are tens of thousands of couponers, their is one of me. ;) We are also bulking up on our Farmer John hotdogs so we'll have those available as well.

Do you ever get tired of companies who seem to ignore you once you've handed them your hard earned money? Not FoodsCo! We'd like to thank the coupon customer who completed the survey today at 5:02pm. ;) We very much appreciate hearing from you!... You have my word, I'll not stop fighting for a price matching policy at FoodsCo! Keep those surveys coming! A series of conference calls, emails and meetings are underway to combine the digital efforts made by FoodsCo and the community efforts made by our FoodsCo Northgate store. Our Northgate FoodsCo store has been officially labeled as our test store when meshing these two innovative efforts together. One area currently being finalized, the companies ability to create company sponsored digital coupons which can be made available to our customers at the stores request, when they request it... For any product they wish.

Great news! Our digital ad has been released this week! Using the digitalfood app, located on google play or the istore, users can view an ad which only exists digitally. Our newest weekly ad, that went live just this morning, does contain the QR code needed to access the online digital ad. Install the digitalfood app and in the upper right hand corner of the app is a "scan" button. Tap the "scan" button and scan the QR code on our flyer to reveal the additional ad items.

We have some exciting news for our couponing friends! A relationship between FoodsCo and the numerous manufacturing companies has been established that will allow us to see the coupons they plan to release upwards of five weeks in advance. This will allow us to better plan and prepare to have the products you want in stock, in the amounts you want. To give you an example, as many of you know, during our last Herbal Essence sale, we brought in over 2,500 bottles of Herbal Ess...ence body wash and it lasted roughly six hours. Coupon shoppers had to wait for shipments to arrive and those who weren't able to be at the store first thing in the morning found empty shelves. With our new relationship and our ability to know what coupons are coming out when, we can better plan for such sales. In this example, I might just have ten pallets of body wash arriving in the coming weeks for a possible sale that may be exactly like a sale which we just saw a few weeks ago. Please note... The information regarding what is going on sale and the coupons that will be published with those sales is confidential information and will not be discussed prior to that sale breaking. Once that sale becomes active, I will be releasing the information, not beforehand.
