No Cross, No Crown ... In the account of the Crucifixion of Jesus, he is represented as receiving five wounds; may not these wounds have an esoteric-symbolical meaning? This requires transcending any intellectual effort, even the one involved in the activity of self-analysis. As Blavatsky wrote:... "Self-knowledge of this kind is unattainable by what men usually call 'self-analysis.' It is not reached by reasoning or any brain process; for it is the awakening to consciousness of the divine nature of Man." Spiritual self-knowledge is an awareness of the real in us, and no brain process that involves the activity of thought, memory, etc., can produce it.
