We love seeing Arizonans excited to get their #COVID19 vaccine! You shouldn't however, share photos on social media that include your vaccine card. Read more information at: https://1.azdhs.gov/2NSUAcB and consider sharing other pictures like the "I Got Vaccinated" sticker instead.
Have a safe and happy holiday from the FMIT Department of Emergency Response!!
A new CDC report highlights how improving the fit of your mask can help slow the spread of COVID-19. In lab tests with dummies, exposure to potentially infectio...us aerosols decreased by about 95% when they both wore tightly fitted masks. Wearing a mask that fits tightly to your face can help limit spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. With the emergence of new variants, wearing a mask is more important than ever. Gathering virtually or with the people you live with is the safest way to celebrate the Super Bowl this year. Try these ideas for a virtual celebration: Wear ...clothing or decorate your home with your favorite team’s logo or colors. Make appetizers or snacks with the people you live with to enjoy while watching the game. Start a text group to chat about the game while watching. If you watch with others, attend an outdoor viewing party where people can sit at least 6 feet apart. More on safer ways to enjoy the game: https://bit.ly/3cqyOHE.

Arizona is grateful to the heroic men and women who make our safety their priority no matter the situation. Thank you, first responders! #FirstRespondersDay
On Friday October 23rd the United States had 83,000 new cases of COVID-19. The highest single new cases in one day since the pandemic began. As the holidays are approaching.... please remember that this virus is bein spread by gatherings.... especially small home gatherings. Please remember that the Fort Mojave Tribe is still under a stay at home order, this is for your protection. Mask use is required in all tribal buildings. Please wear your masks if you leave your home for... essential services such as grocery shopping, medical appointments and work. Avoid groups of people that don’t live in your home, social distance, wash your hands often and sanitize commonly touched surfaces. I know we are all tired of COVID-19 rules.... but these are the only things we can do to protect our loved ones. Masks are still available at the Department of Emergency Response. Please call 760-326-9650 to schedule a time to get masks if you need them. We are available Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. See more
