Hello everyone, We wanted to give you all an update on what’s going on with the production of the Alpha Flight Controls and the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. First of all, we want to apologize to the many of you who still haven’t been able to purchase our products due to lack of inventory. We are producing at max capacity but are facing several problems which are impacting availability: The whole electronics industry is facing severe component shortages and we are especially har...d hit as some of our components now have a lead time of 6 7 months. We originally had a backup inventory of those long lead time components but that has been depleted as well which means that our production schedule is dependent on when we get replenishments from our suppliers. There is an extreme shortage of container availability from Asia which means that we sometimes have to wait several weeks for availability to ship products to our resellers. We have allocated some of our inventory to ship directly to customers from Hong Kong and only charge 30% of the actual FedEx cost to our customers, but they are sold out almost as quickly as we make them available in our shop. With that being said, shipments are on their way to our resellers, and we will have more units available to purchase very soon. We are truly thankful for your continued support and hope you continue to fly with us. Thank you, Nicki (Founder) Honeycomb Aeronautical PS. We will post an update on tech support issues and solutions in the next few days.
Our office in Asia made these nice dust covers for us to use at tradeshows and we wanted to see if that was something you would want us to offer for sale as well. Works with Alpha and Bravo and could be another color. MSRP probably $14.99
The Jan/Feb Edition of PC Pilot is out! Worth a read if you want all the details on the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. Available here: https://www.key.aero/pcpilot
After overwhelming positive feedback, we have decided to move forward with the Bravo Center Console for Mouse & iPad Mini (for Bravo Throttle Quadrant). We listened to all your suggestions and tried to incorporate as many of them as possible. The stowaway function rotates horizontally right, so you can leave your mouse on the pad when not in use (depending on mouse size). We're currently in the prototype phase and don't have a final price or release date yet, but since no ele...ctronics are involved, the process from here on shouldn't be too long. The key thing is to test rigidity and long term endurance of the materials and structural integrity under stress. We'll keep you posted on the progress. PS. You will not be able to use the suction pad table mount in conjunction with the Bravo Center Console.
Bravo Throttle Quadrant Shipping Update! Hope everyone in the United States had a wonderful Thanksgiving! All week 1 Pre-Orders from our website have now been shipped. ... Week 2 Production completes on the 30th and should be shipping shortly after. We will be providing all other customers with additional updates as we move forward. -Honeycomb
