This is a great example of how to compliment a color scheme with out having everything in the same color. The days of the ribbon matching the dress which matches the ink on the invitations which matches the boxes that the wedding favors are in are long gone. Now it's about color complexity. The plum dresses are a strong statement. Adding more plum does nothing to improve the look. Instead, we gathered flowers to enhance and broaden the color concept. Complementing that bold plum color are blooms of burgundy amaranthus, antique blue hydrangea, lavender roses, purple allium, racemes of green millet and plums of foxtail fern.
