Back to School is upon us and late summer/early fall viruses right around the corner. (Not to mention a crazy-awful-long allergy season here in Los Angeles.) Acupuncture helps us feel more grounded. In Western biomedicine, this is explained because acupuncture down-regulates the nervous system, putting us into the parasympathetic phase, aka Rest & Digest. Mercury just went retrograde (yup! until 7/31), which tends to make nervous systems go wonky. In addition to making analog copies of your schedule for the week (seriously- devices notoriously fail when Mercury is retrograde), finding your extra set of keys, slowing down and getting your hands in the dirt, #acupuncture can be super helpful during this time.
