The children have been creating extra special valentines for their parents, learning their addresses and how the mail works. " Go Away Big Green Monster" by Ed Emberley is one of our all-time favorites, especially in the 2 year old classroom. Using splatter paint and glue, the children designed their own monsters. #fleurdelisschool #goawaybiggreenmonster

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. and his mission of equality, our Pre-K students did the egg experiment. Using the brown and white eggs , the children brainstormed the similarities and differences between the two. They ultimately reached the conclusion that although the eggs have different "skin" colors, the insides are exactly the same! What a profound lesson to learn!
