Pastor Ramon Contreras stopped by First Lutheran to pick up 20 backpacks filled with school supplies. The backpacks will be distributed by Lutheran Border Concerns Ministry. Sunday School students and others contributed offerings to purchase the supplies. This is the second year that our Sunday School has participated in collecting supplies for the Mexican ministry. For three years the students sent backpacks to Lutheran World Relief. Students not only learn about giving to others but also about ministries around the globe.
