This is what a day out of the office looks like... Morning: Put on my Culinary Medicine Hat to meet with @sharphealthcare Nutrition and Dietitian team because, what better place to start with educating someone about Food as Medicine than when they’re hospitalized and learning about their condition. More to come on this.... Mid-day: tuned into Climate Leadership conference #acls2021. @eco_america . Thank you for talking about #environmentaljustice ... Afternoon: Taught a Culinary Medicine class on Graceful aging for your joints with food @vebaresourcectr with Chef Leslie @foodsensenow and Chef Jess @jesscerra where we had a wonderful engaged audience ready to dive deep into more integrated wellness! Evening: finished the day doing a CME #lifestyle medicine series cooking demo for my colleagues @sharphealthcare where I incorporated how to talk to patients about nutrition in easy ways with every patient, every time. The next few days I’m back in the office discussing all things wellness and health with patients regarding acute, short term, long term conditions and always #foodasmedicine. I love the concept of Ikigai. This week is a great example of it.
