Hey Fishermen, We have been enjoying some great fishing since the last report. The sharks are biting! The halibut fishing is great. The bay is filling up with striped bass and we are getting some good limits and then hunting halibut. We have done a couple of rockfish and lingcod trips with limits of lingcod. Hey fishermen, Well last week was good fishing except for a couple of trips where the bite was tough. The halibut are showing up in a larger size now. Yesterday the bass showed up on the rocks. Both boats are full through next Monday. But I have room next week and I expect the bass to start showing in even greater numbers. It is hard to do the photos with smiles. Hey Fishermen, I just returned from my daughter’s in North Carolina. We were there for my grandsons 1st birthday. It was a great time and a great brake. Last night we sat on the front porch watching the fireflies. While I was gone Captain Charles and Captain David had some great trips. A week ago the fishing was tough due to the tides and wind. But the last few trips the fish bit very well. We had a couple of surprises. We had a lady that caught her very first fish. She batt...led the fish for almost 30 minutes. It was a keeper sturgeon that took a live anchovy. We also had 2 teenage boys that landed 2 soupfin sharks. Time to get back to work. Enjoy the photos. Hey all, We have been very busy the last 5 days. The fishing has been very good. Just take a look at the photos. They tell the story. All the photos came from day trips. I had a young couple from Nashville today. They booked a private charter for a birthday trip. They missed a few but landed limits of halibut by 11:15 am.. Hey everyone, WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS !!! I am starting trips on Thursday. Saturday, both boats filled up. Friday, one boat filled. I have some room on Sunday and the holiday Monday. Today was a family trip. Deb and I took our grandkids out for a field trip. Cody and Jessie saw live anchovies, sea lions, halibut, harbor seals, porpoises and a variety of birds. We managed to get in 3 hours of fishing before the wind started blowing. We had some good action for the time we f...ished. Cody landed the largest halibut at 35 inches. It was a very fun day. Flash I made it out and fished in between showers. Yesterday the action was off the hook. It was fish on before all the rods were out. Many fish lost during the fight. Oversized and keepers on the deck. And now with a shot of fresh water it should be even better. I had a group reschedule next Saturday the 21st. So the day is wide open. Hey Sturgeon fishermen, We have been having some good fun with the good sturgeon fishing. The weather has been great. The water temperature is around 57 degrees, good for sturgeon!
