I have seen too many people with sugar addiction. If I was any addict ( drug, alcohol, sex, shopping, gambling) , I will try to get help. And I know you will too!! Because these addiction would kill me and destroy my life! And it’s just sad that I will put my loved ones in misery because my addiction. ... Then why the heck are we still cling on to sugar ??? The high from sugar is same as getting high from Cocaine. That’s just so scary to even think but we don’t believe it. Sugar addiction is real and if you say yes on these, you gotta get help. Having sweet tooth is different than having sugar addiction. Addiction will make you feel shame , guilt and depressed. It’s time to face your demon and get help before it really starts to control YOU. #fitbodybyjessica

@loraleanne used to be my member and now she is my friend. She moved out from Fontana a few years that she no longer attended my studio. She didn’t know anything about fitness but she was eager to learn when she came to the studio. So long story short, she stopped working out bc her studio was closed last year. She enjoyed life little too much as you can see her texting. ... And the rest of ppl who’s reading this too. We ate and drank our fear and anxiety that a lot of us gained a few lbs or more .. @loraleanne also gained some and lost 25 lbs since November. She gave up everything that made her gained 25 lbs and gave 100% to clean eating and working out. The point of this post is at the first pic. I was mentally ready And a lot of us are not mentally ready to give 100% . We are not ready to give up junk food nor alcohol. I already asked my members and most of them told me that they can’t give up on alcohol She gave up holidays ! Let me tell you... She looks so healthy and slim! She still watches her diet. She works out 6 days a week. I am just very proud of her as my friend and also my ex member! So any of you guys are still struggling to lose weight, ask yourself! Can I give up the food and alcohol to see how far can I do this? If the answer is no, then you will be struggling with your weight loss. The truth hurts but it is what it is. I used to make this and I haven’t made it forever so here I go... Protein packed pre-workout pancake 1 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed ... One scoop of vanilla protein powder ( I used banana flavor) two egg whites 1/3 cup of low-fat cottage cheese mix all together blend it until smooth and make the I use sugar free maple syrup! A trainer asked her client why he can’t commit to exercise at 4 am in the morning. Her client has a very high demanding career that 4 am is the only time he CAN work out. His answer was so ignorant and stupid. He said I just can’t Do it that time because I know I can’t get up. The trainer asked him ... What if you have a very important meeting for you work at 4 am, would you get up? And he said yes, because paying bill is more important than my health . The trainer you gotta know what is priority in your life. This is not my story but I had clients like this person all the time. We all know what comes first and I don’t need to explain more . I’ve always been healthy all my life. But I did have stage 2 breast cancer when I was 33 years old. Now I’m 47 so this is about 15 years ago. I know for sure that my cancer came from STRESS and birth control pills. Fast forward 2007 to 2021. I have not been sick except a few infection from the breast implants and one bad ass flu from last year January ( I think I got covid bc I had every symptoms, I even cried bc I was in so much pain but I survived after one week from the... flu) . My immunity system is really good and string and I know it. Because 1 I eat healthy 2 I exercise 3 I go outside to get Vitamin D 4 I stress less ( it will never go away... ) 5 I stopped watching news This is how I see it, If I can survive all those nasty chemos, antibiotics from infections, and last year bad flu, I can conquer anything. I am training my body to fight any illness, virus, and whatever wants to attack. This is me!! Everybody has their own way to fight and this is my way To do it! What a random ugly pics! Some of us tried this broccoli and chicken diet for 5 days . Eat only these for 5 days and some really did. Some changed little. Some gave up( that’s me ). It was fun for two days because we were losing so much water weight and then we were getting grouchy and hangry . So this is result of my members who participated the challenge. ... What we learned is that 1. We snack too often 2. We don’t eat enough veggies 3. We love our carbs so much 4. We can lose extra weight from vacation/ holidays using this quick crazy diet . Some gained 5 lbs from Thanksgiving weight and they all lost and more. Some have been stuck on their weight and this helped to get out from it . Some realized that it’s not bad like it sounds like it. rainbow diet Because they love the result from the diet, we are on diet for this 5 Days. So far... so good We will find out how this diet challenge leads to . What a random pics for today . I was trying to find pics from my first breast reconstruction surgery , infection, happy times w my new boobies, and one more infection from last year that finally made me removed the implants. The second pic is my current left boobs every day. I have good days and bad days with this bra inserts. Some days, it only takes 2 mins to insert into my sport bras and some days it takes 5 mins . I literally yelled at my bra and the world .... I g...et frustrated and angry at myself to let this happened . So much regrets... The third pic is the last year infection. The reason I am writing today is that we all try to make our bodies perfect as possible. At least i did and I now ended up botched up boobies. After the surgery, I really want to get the surgery to have implants back, but I finally accepted my deformed boobies. When I talked to my dr that I would not get another surgery and she was very happy about it. It was a very hard and tough decision for me. we talk about #selflove but it’s really easy to say than actually doing it . I wish I would never done it first place. I wish I was happy with my body first place . But I learned my lesson from 3 surgeries and 2 infections. Love your body as it is. Love your flaw as it is. Don’t focus on your least favorite part but focus on your favorite part. Don’t chase to look like someone . Don’t chase to have the perfect body. I could make a lot of , if I start selling magic!!! So this is a true story. One of my member’s hairstylist sells fitness wellness coaching service for $1000 for one year subscription. He supposedly have 100 clients. So I’m thinking.. what the hell i am doing in here... Anyway, so this is what he sells. He is on Alkaline diet and he gives ppl to how to eat and what to eat. He lost weights and he is selling it. I told my member that if I want to make a lot of money and ...just scam people, I will sell the sweat belt, the cream, the detox smoothies, the pills, the massage bs, and mommy makeover from the plastic surgeon. But my moral and my conscious can’t do it. I help ppl to do it proper way . Because... I don’t believe in diet! I don’t believe in a quick fix! I don’t believe in any fancy stuff that helps to melt your fat. I don’t believe in anything that you don’t put any work. I believe in diet that you can stick with it everyday. I believe in a long journey. After all... life is a long journey and fitness is a part of it. I believe in no magic. I believe in burning fat through using your body to burn calories. Stop wasting your money on these stupid non sense gimmick and diet crap! It is really simple. You choose healthier lifestyle over unhealthy. Make a small change and keep working on it. Just imagine all the money you could save from buying or getting these gimmicks. Don’t do it!! Starting this week, my members and I are doing #50milechallenge It’s not running but walking 50 miles for 30 days. I noticed that a lot of us are working out inside but not wanting to get out from the house . And this is me in this case. I don’t like walking unless I am doing grocery shopping. I am so comfortable working out inside that I don’t have any desire to go outside. I , myself need to get out my comfort zone and do something that I don’t like to do which is walk...ing . I could just done this by myself but I wanted my members doing it so we can support each other. Instead of just walking, I set a goal how I can finish 50 miles in 30 days. My goal is to get 13 miles per week. 1-1.5 mile day and the rest will be on Saturday and Sunday. My hubby is walking with me too. When we are at home, we tend to just watch TV or be on our phone. With walking outside, we catch up our talk, our future plan, and so on. It’s like when we were dating back in the days. Talk and talk The weather is cooling down and it’s great way to get out from the house for 20-30 mins . This could be one of my favorite quote. Any work out is better than no work out. Even it is 10 mins per day, then it is 70 mins per week. The duration of work out doesn’t matter if you just started. Look at pics again and you will see it. 2 A Lot of veggies are low in calories that they will help you to fill your appetite and hunger. When you try to lose weight, the first thing that you need to control is your hunger and craving . The only way to control is to make your tummy so full that you can’t eat. When you are full, you just can’t eat . 3 People eat so small amount of veggies that they end up snacking on high calories food like protein bars, nuts , and fruits. 4 Be carful when it comes to condiments too. Some are high calories too. 5 After all... I have never seen anybody who gained weight bc they ate too much veggies!! Which do you choose? I was explaining this to my new client and why not explain again. 1 Muscle don’t turn into fat. Muscle shrinks as we get older that we have to do weight bearing exercise and consume enough protein to synthesize the fibers. 2 Fat takes more space than muscle. The number on scale only shows how much our body weight as a whole. 120 lbs on 15 % body fat and 28% body fat completely look different. 3 Fat cells never disappear unless you get liposuction.... Fat cells gets bigger and smaller based on your diet and lifestyle. The bottom line is that Build more muscle through weight training and eating proper nutrition ( protein is must). I DON’T RUN ! Because running doesn’t bring joy when I’m running. I know a lot of ppl into running but i am not. However, I did try half marathon back in 2010. I literally trained for 4 months ( walking and jogging ) and the longest run I did was about 6-7 miles before the race day. ... I’ve never liked running but I did for a few reasons. 1 I want to start encourage and help my client who joined the race. She told me that she will never do any bikini competition but she wanna to do something that she can train to do it. 2 Just because I never liked running prior this race that I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone. These were only two reasons and I finished it within 2 hours 30 mins. Not bad for a first timer . And I learned so much from this race. 1Set a mindset and keep working or training hard . 2 Consistency and patience are the key. Rome didn’t build over night so as my endurance. 3 My right knee popped out after 10 Miles but I still ran. I told myself that I’m not giving up. I am stronger than I think. 4 Rest is must and wear a proper shoes for running. Not getting enough rest and shoes lead me to have plantar facilities on my feet and my right knee never recovered. This is why I don’t run . I made a lot of mistakes in my life and fitness life, but what I leaned from all mistakes is that 1 All mistakes are not mistakes, but some are lessons. 2 Get out my comfort zone and do something that I am scared to do . 3 It’s not all about the finish line, but the journey to get to the finish line. Take time, no rush, no cheating. 4Have fun!!! Anti aging!!! I didn’t quite understand what it really means until I turned 40 years old. I am about 4 months away turning 47 years and I believe in anti aging concept. We live in the world that we are scared and don’t want to get old that we will do anything to stay young as possible. More ppl are into plastic surgeries, treatments, skin cares , and etc. ... When it comes to anti aging for me is little different than these fancy procedures and products. Anti-aging means that it is to delay the process the aging process. Our bodies are made for cells, and aging occurs when there is cell death . My goal is to slow down the process with my daily habits and my lifestyle. 1 I exercise 2 I do strength training 3 I do cardio training 4 I eat pretty healthy 5 I drink water 6 I eat fun food and drink fun drink occasionally 7 I put sunscreen 8 I go to bed early 9 I try not to stress over stuffs that it won’t matter one month later. I put anti aging cream on my face and my neck ( not expensive brand, just over the counter brand). Basically, it’s very simple lifestyle that I do daily. My advise for ppl who spend a tons of money to try to stay young, get rid of bad habits, but adopt good habits that can you stay active and healthy. I didn’t grow up a picture perfect household and I did a lot of stupid thing while growing up. I blamed my parents for my behavior for a long time but it is not their fault. They were trying to survive from poverty. Looking back my life, I really have a pretty good life now. I have a husband who loves me . ... it’s been over 1 year that I removed my implant due to the infection from last March. I didn’t think I can wear my bikini again but I am now. I had to put a lot stuffing on my left bra.
