This April has been an exciting month for fishing. Combined with the beautiful landscape we are surrounded with here in the North State, this is one of the best times to get out and venture. During this time of the year, both Derbies and Expos are held here in the North State. This allows a competitive edge to those who make a living providing eco tourism business and is a great time to get the kids out. Here are some recent photos from some exciting adventures. From Str...ipers to Sturgeon, we literally have it all in our backyard. But most importantly, we need to back these resources we enjoy with our future generations. Here is a taste of our upcoming fisheries fighters and some exceptional striper fishing. Lets hope our fisheries manager's and water distributors don't ruin the future for our upcoming generations with poor management. These kids are our future fisheries fighters and we need to keep them involved. Big thanks to the Redding Sportsman's Expo and NCGASA for putting on activities that keep these kiddos involved. Our watersheds are in danger and they have beeb mismanaged for way too long. Our watershed ecosystems are suffering and we need all the support we can get from the "do gooders", and not the water exporters.

Happy New Year and Tight Lines to you all!!! The salmon fishing was so so this year, but the Trout and Steelhead keep on biting! The river has been low, clear, and cold out there. Let's hope we get some much needed rains in 2021 for the future of our salmon fishery. Big fish to all in 2021 and may your rods be bent!!!

Salmon Season is in full swing!

Salmon fishing is beginning to heat up on the Sac. With ideal rainfall conditions in 2017, we are seeing some nice sized fish show up. Check out these 2 toadzillas caught while drfting roe!

Greeat trip to the Coast with the Schertz family and friends. Can't wait to fill the freezer again!
