It is still early in the week. So which way are you thinking? Flowers? So good! But there is nothing mothers love more than a handwritten note of appreciation from their chickadees of any age. Tell them something that made a difference for you!

"Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. May 1 brings flowers, vines and fruit in abundance! The table is set for tomorrow, a communion Sunday. We are branches of the holy vine, bearing fruit for the world.

Here's your chance to eat seafood and raise money for your church. The restaurant will send 20 percent of what you spend back to the church for use in mission projects. Church and Society/Missions sponsors this one, so your money could help us find food and shelter for people in need, or buy gift cards for former foster children. Thanks for caring! Thanks to everyone who joyfully came out and lovingly donated valentines cards for our senior members on the "Valentine Drop-Off" Drive Thru event on Sunday, 2/7, right after the Sunday Worship. Church stalwart Margie Baillod (rocking that mask in the picture) is organizing the blood drive. So you are multi tasking.
