Don't lose the masks just yet! COVID cases are on a downward trend, which is encouraging, but we need to keep our masks on to keep those numbers moving in the right direction. When we are able to reopen in-person worship, we will still need to be in the habit of keeping our masks on. Here's a friendly reminder from the Worship Team: "We're wearing our masks out of love for each other. Can you wear your mask, too, for our sisters and brothers?"

Don’t forget our Outreach Bake Sale tomorrow from 10:30-11:30am. In addition to all the sweet treats, Pastor Stacy will be making two pans of homemade lasagna that are ready to be cooked and eaten. The suggested donation is $20 per pan, which will feed 6 large servings.

Occasionally I get asked why I don’t always delegate tasks that church volunteers can do. Sometimes the answer is for the sake of prayer. Sometimes, such as the times I spend stamping communion bags and filling communion kits, I spend the time praying for the individuals and families that will receive the items I am working on. I consider what worries and anxieties are upon them when I hand them kits and buckets, and pray that a bite of bread or a drink of juice will be a peace giving and hope receiving moment for them. I pray that God will be present, that God’s Spirit will be active and that the believers’ hearts will be open to experience grace through our Creator. I pray for you, I love you, and I miss you all. See you in the Holy Communion line on Sunday.
