Happy Mother's Day! Hyvää äitienpäivää! And what a Vappu we had - thank you everyone! Our Vappu/Cinco de Mayo gathering was once again a sell out to rave reviews. From scratch handmade authentic tortillas and pupusas in the north end of the garden to Nordic cold appetizers to the south, sima to the West and Margaritas to the East, everyone enjoyed the perfect Southern California afternoon.... Children playing, balloons swaying; fun was had by all. Most importantly the afternoon brought a great dynamic together: Finns in the restaurant industry visiting LA, an engineering superstar researcher from UCLA telling the inside story of those electric scooters that have taken over our neighborhoods, exciting local entrepreneurs, business owners, newcomers to LA , young and old visionaries sharing experiences, ideas and making connections. Thanks to all for the the joy and inspiration!
