Been working in the archives and got to thinking of how heavy the channel can get for @molokai2oahu and I recalled 2012 when I think the channel was the most lively I had seen it. @davekalama and @conbax were head to head coming into China Wall and the channel was just unruly. It came down , pretty much, to a close sprint into Portlock. To this day I will always remember watching these two guys go all out in probably the roughest water I had ever been in.
