TWO OF SWORDS WIth the number 2 in Tarot we now deal with the Aces obviously duplicating themselves. We can see in the 2 of Wands, this causes momentum to happen. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the 2 of Swords. Since the suit of swords represents thoughts and communication, they unfortunately get a bit confused and conflicted when duplicated like this. It's like having two opposing thoughts that you can't make up your mind about. But as always in Tarot, there is a ...way out. We can see in the illustration below there is a woman sitting near the beach while the tide is coming in. If she doesn't make up her mind soon and take action, she will be swept away out to sea. Perhaps she doesn't even realize the danger considering the blindfold she has on. That blindfold is the key. The blindfold must come off for us to make a decision. It means on our paths we must learn to take a good look at the situation around us and realize what it is that we might be missing. The resolution might be right in front of us. The 2 of Swords encourages us to be bold, look at the evidence and make a decision so we can get out of the water and back on our path.
