Going through a divorce can make you feel powerless and overwhelmed. Don’t know where to turn? A positive first step is to take control of your divorce and attend a low-cost Divorce Options workshop presented by a family law attorney, a divorce financial professional and a mental health professional. The 3-hour workshop is offered on the first Saturday of every month, from 9:30 am -12:30 in the Jewish Community Center at 3200 California Street in San Francisco. The next work...shop is on March 7th. No preregistration is necessary. The fee is $45 per person. Your single most important decision is choosing your divorce process litigation, mediation, Collaboration or self-representation. Your presenters on February 1 will be Lisa Auer (family law attorney), Don Blythe (CPA and Divorce Financial Analyst) and Nina Raff (LCSW & divorce counselor). And it's hard when times are good - but it's particularly hard in times of economic uncertainty. Thinking about divorce means taking a hard look at economic reality.
