We’re excited to announce that Channel Buyers may now search Filmhub’s catalog by Popularity Ranking. Popularity Ranking is powered by our proprietary machine learning algorithms using data sets including earnings across channels on Filmhub, festival awards, cast, consumer views and channel orders. It also serves as an indispensable tool to tune curated selections by using other filters in parallel such as genre, topics, and production country. For further information please ...visit: https://bit.ly/3eF2gs6 Licensing films as a Channel Buyer should be just as easy as a consumer’s browsing experience on their favorite streaming service. By helping Channel Buyers with easier tools to review our catalog we can provide them with more relevant content and increase earnings for Content Owners. Interested in becoming a Channel on Filmhub and gaining access to license over 12,000 titles? Please visit: https://bit.ly/3asZK4X

With digital streaming, the cost of distribution should be close to zero. Especially when you compare to the physical era of DVD, theaters, satellite and cable. Yet, we increasingly have "retailers" i.e. streaming platforms trying to squeeze in deductions off the top - for "telco", "marketing", "technical" etc. This would get filmmakers a fraction of what consumers pay - as if nothing has changed when DVDs had to be pressed and trucked to brick-and-mortar retailers around the country. This should be different now. Read our blog post on how Filmhub represents creators in this.
Filmhub is happy to announce a new distribution deal for South Africa and Kenya with Posix. Posix is operating its own OTT video portal under the trade-mark Posflix offering video content to the customers in South Africa. Posix will offer services through various client applications including iOS, Android, and web browsers. It's a subscription based service (SVOD). The channel is scheduled to launch in January 2020, first in South Africa the followed by Kenya eventually.
Medium just got sooo slow over time... Thinking of moving our blog back to our own (static) site. What do you guys use for #blogging?
Amazon Prime Video Direct extends their subjective pay rate "ranking" to other countries. Mainstream fims with "notable" talent (i.e. stars), box office (i.e. studios) get paid more. Not much love for #indiefilm on Amazon? Be prepared - release wide with Filmhub.
Gradually rolling out our new website. Let us know here what you think. http://bit.ly/2K7xzhn

Have to admit - it does feel odd without iTunes after the macOS Catalina upgrade - and isn't "TV" a pretty archaic name for video streaming?
