The Cottage at Fig Leaf Farm

I wanted a pop of color on the doors when we were getting ready to list the house. I saw the doors on @simplysoutherncottage front doors and knew that Lemon Twist was it! They are definitely bright but they are so cheerful that I can’t help but smile each time I see them. I wish I had done it sooner!

In our new backyard, getting ready for Mother’s Day with family. For many years, this was a hard day for me. So for those who are having a hard time today, I see you. And I’m sending you a big hug.

A little mama bird hatched the sweetest pair of babies in my birdhouse. I took a peek at them while mama was out getting food. Aren’t they just the cutest?!

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around this, but...we are selling Fig Leaf Farm. Even though we have found something that is a better fit for our family, it still hurts to leave this beautiful place.

I’m so proud of my friend @ericalayneco and the release of her new book! It was so fun to attend her book signing tonight in town. Fun fact: she wrote a portion of the book while staying at the Cottage! (I’m putting the link to her book in my profile. Go check it out!)
