PSA: If you know someone going through their first Holiday season without a loved one, check up on them. In my line of work I'll have clients who get DUI's or have other issues when they have no criminal history and never really consumed alcohol. The underlying issue is almost always grief from missing loved ones and not being about to cope with that grief.

Great result my client's case for domestic violence was dismissed after several delays due to covid. I was able to show DA that it was actually her husband who was the aggressor. He had a history of violence but because of that knew what to say to police when my client originally called the police on him. I took this case personal as through my investigation i knew what a truly horrible person my clients soon to be ex husband was. He manipulated her bc she was unsophisticated and barely spoke English. Today justice was finally served as all charges against her were dismissed.
