Hello Fiesta Friends, I just arrived at the beautiful "Barcelo Maya Riviera Adults Only Resort" Again the safety protocols outstanding! Upon entering you walk across a disenfectant mat, they give you hand sanitizer, they take your temperature and they even wiped off the reception counter after each visitor. Wow. They even give evryone a personal care kit! Outstanding!!!

THE RIU PALACE PENINSULA CANCUN!!

THIS IS WHAT YOU CAME TO CANCUN FOR!!!!

All of you untensils come in a sealed envelope, again safety in the #1 concern, the buffet restaurant and social distancing markers and servers that will fill you plate for you with a huge selection of dishes. At night the show does go on with social distancing in mind with the table and chairs set up.

I would like to document this journey from the very beginning. Everyone on the plane has to wear a mask and that's a small price to pay! On the plane you will need to compete a smaill health form, and upon deplaning in Cancun your temperature will be checked. As you enter your shuttle to the hotel the driver will wipe your luggage with a disenfectant wipe. The 2nd and 3rd pictures are hotel protocols. As you enter the hotel you must walk across a disenfectant mat followed by a temperature check and then hand sanitizer which is everywhere in the hotel. There are also social distancing markers everywhere throughout the hotel, even in the elevator. I arrived at the Riu Palace Peninsula and following photos are from the hotel

Cancun is open for business. This is a video a took yesterday! The safety protocals on the plane, at the airport and at destination take presidence and even though you have to wear masks in public areas, when entering the restaurants, at check in, etc etc it's worth it once you are at the beach or pool!
