Who's feeling lucky today? Much of farming is a gamble. We plant certain crops early in hopes that they yield an early, more valuable crop for a few weeks. We use season extension to plant tomatoes in early March, and cross our fingers gers that Jack Frost doesn't wipe them all out. Usually we get lucky. I was feeling lucky, and in honor of St. Patrick's day decided to plant these little basil. If all goes well, we will have early basil for market and farm shares in the first week of May. Crossing ours fingers.

This week is the last call for Spring farm share subscriptions! We currently have 5 week subscriptions and Grabn' Go boxes available this week. We will be taking a short break in May to make a few changes to our program. Details for June farm shares and garden veggie starts coming soon!
