Breakfast today in the kitchen is a classic Fierro's favorite! Our Butternut Squash Scramble! To get it just right, we have to bring in the @lodgecastiron for this recipe. The skillet simply gives us the crsipy texture we love on the butternut squash. -------------------------------------------------- First we get our @traegergrills to the highest heat possible (usually around 400) and then we place our cast iron skillet in the grill. Once its smoking, we start with choppe...d smoked bacon and sizzle. Then We add maple sage pork sausage, chopped onions and butternut squash. Griddle about 10 minutes and then add rainbow kale and whipped eggs. Scramble together till desired texture. The duo of the cast iron and Traeger gives you a combo of textures and flavors that is simply amazing. Fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, sausage. Caramelized onions and butternut squash.
