The moment the gates at the entrance of Field and Pond opened up I was in awe. I was taken on a tour of the 80-acre terrain filled with vibrant succulents, Prickly Pear cacti and trees displaying a peacock feathering of Fall colors (right on time). The landscape is impeccable and I could tell that each shrub, flowering plant and tree was carefully hand-selected to line the various walking paths. There was also a pristine pond - great for a morning jog, to melt and breathe aw...ay stress and tension on a yoga mat, pour out ideas in a journal or peacefully meditate. The lodge where I slept looks like something out of Architectural Digest! My Aha moment was mustering the courage to have my first experience in life horseback riding. She was gentle and sweet as honey - her name was Solar and her eyes glittered like the beautiful evening stars that line the sky at night. This is an unforgettable place that taps the spirit and soothes the soul. See more
