#PACKITINPACKITOUT We expanded and started our water operations at sugar pine reservoir on July 4th 2020, what an interesting year it has been, with all that is going on in the world people are finding themselves out in the woods recreating in large numbers and that's great until you see a scene like this. This was a camp that was setup for the 4th of July weekend and was setup right off of sugar pine road between the Sugar Pine OHV staging area and the Forbes Creek group cam...pground site at the end of Finning Mill Rd. Not a defined campsite just a side of the road campsite. Both sides of the road had camps in this area and there were quite a few people there enjoying the holiday weekend riding on the OHV trails which is great it's good for our community and helps our local businesses. However, this world belongs to everyone not just you so please when you come visit the areas where my family and kids live and play please do your best to clean up after yourselves so we don't have to. If you brought it all out there and consumed some of the stuff you brought then you should be able to pack it all out with you at the end. The toilet is the worst offense I have ever seen and I am sad to say I could not muster up the strength to clean up a 5 gallon bucket FULL toilet and the scattered used toilet paper so unfortunately the toilet remains in our forest for someone that is a better person than me. This is extremely troubling to me that someone this irresponsible was also using some sort of heated source to cook food, there was a makeshift fire ring and leftover BBQ corn cobs all over. Thankfully there was not an incident with fire that close to home. This was a filthy mess that still needs some attention.
