F.D.E.S. INVITES YOU ALL TO PRAY THE ROSARY WITH US Today, July 5th marks the start of our Monterey Festa Novenas in preparation for what would have been our annual festival July 12th. Acts of service and the joy of being together are fundamental to how we engage in preparation for our festa. It will be a challenge not to gather together for prayer and celebrate our 76 years of devotion and celebration of our faith and culture. However, you are invited to tune into our You Tu...be channel using the below link to pray with us virtually each night. The link will become live each night at our normal rosary time of 7:30 PM. The FDES of Monterey Presidents and Directors wish you all well during this unprecedented time. It is with heavy hearts we regretfully cancel our Festa which was scheduled for the weekend of July 11th and 12th. We hope you all continue to stay safe and healthy, and that the Holy Spirit continues to be a guiding presence in your life. All of you are in our prayers!

Due to the current Shelter in Place situation, our Easter Dinner & Dance has been cancelled. We are keeping all you and your families in our prayers during this difficult time. Please stay healthy and safe!

The Queen’s and Member’s Dance has been cancelled. We made this decision out of an abundance of caution and following a recommendation from the California governor that all events over 250 people be cancelled. As a community, we cherish every opportunity to come together, and like you are sorry to miss this festive occasion. We know our community is very understanding of this situation, and we offer our sincere gratitude. We look forward to providing another opportunity to celebrate in the future. In the meantime, please take care of yourself and those around you.

We are looking for a sidemaid to accompany our big queen and represent Monterey. Please message us if you know any young lady between the ages of 15-18 that might be interested. This year’s Festa is scheduled for July 11-12. Thank you!
