Heartbroken to hear about the loss of my dear friend Jay Johnstone over the weekend. I got to know him really well when I worked in baseball. He was a gentleman and a good friend to me. We met for lunch regularly and at baseball games and golf tournaments. This picture and book title pretty much encapsulates the man...hilarious, fun, yet we had many very serious and deep conversations. I miss him. Just left him a voicemail a few months ago and was going to call him again soon. Don’t wait to reach out to someone when they pop into your mind. It might be too late. :-(
