I was apprehensive at best. It turns out that I was so prepared that the normally difficult test was less ominous than perceived. I passed the test after 70 questions and in 55 minutes. For those of you who are thinking about joining the EMT Course on 11/28/16. If you enroll, you will receive a free ECG Basic 2 Day Course! Our course of basic 3-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation starts with a review of the anatomy and electrophysiology of the heart, then moves into waveform recognition and what each waveform represents. We cover proper lead placement, troubleshooting and artifacts, and a detailed review of the ECG paper and how the paper is used to help measure waveforms, intervals and segments.
