The Rocklin Police Department is holding an Etch & Catch event October 26th, from 8:00AM to 1:00PM at the Sierra College Campus Auto Shop, 5000 Rocklin Road Rocklin, CA 95677. Last year, 73 catalytic converter thefts were reported in Rocklin alone (some of which came from my clients' cars.) Catalytic converters are etched with the vehicle's License Plate to help discourage theft. In the event an etched catalytic converter is stolen, the License Plate etching will help the police identify the person to whom the car belongs.
