We've been very busy going into this year ; not posting much. Some parts just catch your eye like these custom 12" brass hemispheres. Had to share the picture.

Here at Fabricor we provide added value! We custom powder coat interior only for one of our regular customers. Fixturing and special handling make this a high end added value to these copper parts.

One of our bigger challenge parts: spin the part without breaking the nose out or thinning the material in the nose.. .063" copper to a very small point. Measures 1/4"radius point x 4" x 3 1/2' height.from .063" copper.maintaining the thickness. This challenge was done for a current customer we do other product for.

Doing quite a bit of reverse engineering lately.. This one no drawings but have a sample. Sometimes we only get a picture with spec's. Takes quite a lot of measuring, interpretations and computer work before you can ever start cutting a tool.Here's a sample. Rough cut, precision step cutting, precision blending to come up with the final precision part. When production is complete goes up on the shelf to wait for the next run.

Another order of hollow spheres/balls. The big 12", biggest we offer currently in our online store, purchased for 10 each. A high end metal sculpting studio is using these high quality fabrications we make.. Online orders ship in one week or less!!!

Custom work all done in house. A plan comes together. First build the spin tooling with pot follow blocks, develop blank size and spin the first parts. Then do custom secondary work as well . Here we built one die for 2 different size parts punching all top holes in both levels at the same time. Followed this up with indexing horn dies for the 4 side holes in both parts and tapped 8-32. These parts are from .080" aluminum. What may look simple can be very complex.

Made 100 really nice cones from copper. Turned out fantastic, very stout part. It's a new custom design for a customer out of .043" (32 ounce) copper 11" long to 7" diameter. These were made without a breakdown using 1 anneal. We have some great hand spinner skills. Very time consuming but worth the wait. What custom designs can we do for you? We will also offer by quotation only the same parts in brass, copper and steel. Brass and copper will be much higher pricing. They require much more expense to produce. Most of these parts are on the difficult side of spinning due to deep draw characteristics

When you want quality come to us. Here we were asked if we could make a mannequin neck cap similar to the sample on the right. We made one better and from off our shelf tooling. The sample has a rough heavy casting painted with a variety of heavy bolts to hold it together with a poorly spun aluminum canopy. Look around they are all over the place. We put out a beautiful spun light weight finial, powder coated, threaded to easily add to any of our canopies from 2" to 8" by 1/8" increments made as brushed professionally spun aluminum. We can do the same for many products out there. Check us out for quality!!
