The truth is this, as much as we love something, what dictates what is BEST for us, comes down to our skin type, lifestyle, and general skin health. There are times where Microblading may heal beautifully, but because my client is extremely oily, it may ...fade too fast and a client desires a longer lasting brow. In comes a powder brow. As dark as a powder brow are in photos, much of it does fade after it heals because most of that color was on that first layer of skin that sheds off. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! 6 years ago I found myself unexpectedly pregnant and I felt the ground shift. After years of infertility, it truly was the gift and AWAKENING I needed to plant myself on solid ground. When I gave birth to a perfectly healthy #Ellie, it was as if God answered all my prayers in one little person. I wanted to change. In so many ways to be a better and best mama to my daughter I could be. That involved changing into a career that would allow me fle...xibility to dictate my own schedule. And whatever it was, let me CREATE. I am an artist and I am my best when I’m allowed to bring visions to life. I took $5k while on maternity leave and enrolled in a 5 day microblading course. It was SCARY because I didn’t have much money to squander or throw away on a whim. Especially with a baby on the way. I was excited and nervous! I could say the rest is history but it isn’t. It has been tons of hard work, sacrifice, some tears, sleepless nights, and literally back and neck breaking work but I don’t regret it for one second! Through my work, I am EMPOWERED. I get to create for a living and it brings me JOY! So for anyone at a crossroads in your life and don’t know what to do. Know that THIS moment is IMPORTANT and an OPPORTUNITY for change.
