Connie Salgado knows what she wants from her career at Expeditionary Technical Solutions, Inc. (ETSI): to improve military operations. As a former Marine, Connie understands the need for the best technology and training in the battlespace. In joining ETSI, she has gained an ability to look at the way software and hardware is developed and assist in the test and evaluation of the Common Hosting Environment (CHE). To fulfill her goal, Connie plans to absorb as much information... as possible. In her spare time, this native Californian is an avid hiker. She also loves watching documentaries while enjoying a nice glass of wine. However, her perfect day always includes some type of learning, so she is also spending her free time finishing her college degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Marketing. ETSI is proud to have her working for us, and we hope we can help her to realize her career goals! See more

Ray Clermont is no stranger to military life. Having spent 22 years as an active duty member of the United States Marine Corps and 23 years as a civil servant, he has traveled the world and seen it all. His earliest interaction with ETSI dates to 2004, when he met Scott Davis, the founder, while working at MCTSSA. The two immediately struck up a working relationship that would last until Scott’s passing in 2015. After he died, he started engaging more with Kimberly Davis, the... President, developing the same type of working relationship that he had with Scott. Ray currently serves as the Business Development Lead. He works towards bringing in work to ETSI, working directly with the Kimberly in networking and getting the right people into contact with her. His favorite project is not what you would necessarily call a project, but Ray have most loved being able to help the Marines through MCTSSA. Given his years of experience as both an active duty Marine and doing civil service work, the USMC has become a huge part of his life. He says being able to ensure that they have the proper equipment and reliable technology is the least he can do after all they have done for him. When looking towards the future, Ray wants just one thing: to ensure that his children and grandchildren are successful. As a grandparent, Ray says he feels as though he lives vicariously through both his children and his grandchildren. His biggest piece of advice to his younger self to know how to retire successfully. Before Kimberly had approached him to work with ETSI, Ray says he was in this gap of retirement planning, starting to settle down, but still having that drive to work. He would also tell himself to not worry about the financial stress retirement may bring. See more

Expeditionary Technical Solutions, Inc. (ETSI) has some great news! In the world of defense contracting, the primary goal is to go faster. However, the defense industrial base is often hindered by the slow acquisition process. Fortunately, ETSI is now able to go faster because the Small Business Administration has awarded it an 8(a) certification. This allows ETSI and its partners to get our expertise into the battlespace sooner. Please send us a note at [email protected] for more information about our business and the way we can work with you to develop new and better opportunities to serve our community.

Expeditionary Technical Solutions, Inc. (ETSI) is pleased to announce that today, October 4th, is the twenty-year anniversary of the company. This is the story of the people who made ETSI an amazing adventure. The company was founded by Scott and Kimberly Davis after they were told that Scott had a brain tumor that would likely kill him after first incapacitating him. Their response to this news was to think about what they really wanted from life. They wanted freedom to mak...e decisions for themselves. They wanted to discover what they could do if they really tried. They wanted to create something new together. ETSI was born and developed from these desires. Throughout ETSI’s history, the knowledge that life is a gift and time isn’t promised has been a core part of every decision. The founders always wanted to be able to say that they live truthfully; that they recognize the people in their company have families, hopes and dreams that matter. The founders put those things: honesty and humanity, above profit. In 2015, the founders were called upon to live this reality when Scott’s brain tumor won the war that had been fought for sixteen years. A few years later, ETSI lost almost everything. When all hope seemed to be lost, ETSI’s employees, partners and friends reached out and said that they would help the company rebuild. Our community is strong, and it keeps ETSI going. ETSI thrives because of so many people embodying a faith that was born from a tragedy. Today, we continue to have freedom. We continue to discover. We continue to create. Most of all, we continue to put people and the truth first. We may have lost a war to a brain tumor. We may have lost profit to the chaos of contracting. But the fire that we found twenty years ago in our darkest hour continues to burn. Whatever the future holds for the company and its employees, that fire is a rare gift and will continue to light a path for us in the future. See more

Expeditionary Technical Solutions, Inc. (ETSI) is pleased to announce that it was awarded a SeaPort NxG indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award contract (MAC) in the category of Engineering Support Services. In the world of federal government acquisition, in general, and SeaPort NxG, in particular, socio-economic statuses of contractor companies are critical. ETSI is defined as Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and an Economically-Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). These designations coupled with our work ethic, focus on mission accomplishment, and past performance will contribute both to ETSI’s success and its dedication to the modern-day warfighter.
