Nia encourages you to really sense and have a conversation with your body while moving. You are always encouraged to move in a range and way that makes you feel good, there is no "no pain, no gain" Moto in Nia. The Nia routines invite the body to move dynamically the way it is designed to move. As a dancer and mover myself, I've noticed that I have more fluidity in my body and it responds more spontaneously.
