Dog fighting is going on in Los Angeles and down south rapidly. If you know anything call 911 or to remain anonymous you can message EARN any info, leads, or, suspicions. #EndDogFighting #AnimalCrueltyInvestigation #EARNrights ... Important #ExpandAnimalRightsNow information to read by Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc : ... If you know something, SAY SOMETHING.... To report dogfighting in Los Angeles County call 1-877-777-2585 To report dogfighting nationally call 1--877-TIP-HSUS. If a dog fight is in progress call 911 | "Dogfighting is a very real epidemic in this first world country of ours. The lives these dogs are forced to live is horrific from beginning to end. This is Lucille. She lived her entire life on rape stands and pregnant. The havoc it reeked on her little body was unthinkable. She endured bite wounds and contracted a blood disease common amongst dogfighting victims called Babesia. It is extremely costly to treat and very hard to cure. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc fought tirelessly to save Lucille but her body was too weak. Todd, her son is the only survivor seized from that operation because LA County euthanized the others due to a fear based ignorant vicious dog ordinance. When people say these dogs were bred to fight, that is false. That’s what humans intend for them it’s not who or what they are. They are FORCED to fight they don’t want to do it. It’s not in their blood. They are given no choice. If two humans were forced into a ring and the only the choice was to fight or die, they would fight because it is a matter of life or death. Dogfights can last up to 3 hours ending due to loss of blood and broken bones. The dog who loses is often times shot, electrocuted, skinned, beaten or as Michael Vick did, used as a jump rope crushing the skull on the pavement. All people in all tax brackets of all ethnicities are involved in dogfighting operations. Don’t believe those who say it only happens in the back woods or in inner cities. That is false. Veterinarians, law enforcement, school teachers and yes rich wealthy athletes and business men and women have & continue force dogs to fight till the death for fun & money. Where there is dogfighting, there is always other crime. Animal abusers do not stop at animals. You or someone you love could be next. Those who abuse animals will likely and most often times do go on to commit crimes against humans. These monsters must be removed from society." See more

WARNING: Graphic Video! (Riverside, California) ________________________________________________ No crime was suspected after a vehicle intentionally drove over dog multiple times. Is there a lack of animal justice in Riverside? Let us know, what do you think? #ExpandAnimalRightsNow ________________________________________________ Source: @animalhopeandwellness A lot of people are upset over the resolution of the Riverside case. Do we feel the incident was an accident - we c...annot really say due to the fact we were unable to interview the owner of the dog and the driver. However, the video shows the dog being slowly reversed over, then run over a third time as the driver takes off. . The Riverside Sheriff Department is saying the individual who ran over the dog did not know. But that person did not get out of the car as a concerned citizen would, instead he drove off running over the dog again. . As a Foundation we have no authority to arrest the person, or do anything more then what we did. We feel animal cruelty laws need to be strengthened and we believe Riley’s Law, our legislative act which was introduced this year by @adrinnazarianad46, would do exactly that. . All animals who are abused or fall under the animal cruelty category would have a pro bono court appointed representative, who would become the voice for that exact victim, to speak for them when no one will listen. . Riverside Sheriff’s Department closed the case. It is not that we gave up, we just do not have any kind of authority to do anything else, unless new witnesses come forward and reach out to the department themselves. . @animalhopeinlegislation ________________________________________________ #animaljustice #riverside #california #animalservices #justice #lawthelawless #earnrights #crime #animalcops #law #animallawyer #dog #dogs #animallovers #dogsofinstagram #doglovers #animalinvestigation #animalrights #letusknow #whatdoyouthink See more

#ExpandAnimalRightsNow Reposted from @animalhopeinlegislation - The Animal Hope in Legislation sponsored Dolphin Protection Act SB 1405, authored by Senator Cathleen Galgiani would make it illegal to hold, breed, import or export a whale, dolphin or porpoise in captivity for display, performance or entertainment purposes. . If passed, this ban would begin a movement to end the captivity of dolphin and whale species in the United States. Dolphins are one of the most complex... species on the planet. They have emotions and personalities - experience joy, grief, frustration, anger and love. They do not belong in tanks. . Senator Galgiani says, We should not rely on cruel and inhumane treatment of any creature simply for our entertainment. Dolphins are incredibly intelligent beings that suffer a range of health problems and stress as a result of being held in captivity. . Please thank Senator Galgiani on Twitter @senatorgalgiani for having the commitment and strength to stand against exploitation, and for authoring this landmark bill to help protect animals. . #EndCaptivity #DolphinProtectionAct #SenatorGalgiani @animalhopeandwellness @laanimalsave @livekindlyco @mermaiddogs @animaljustice_ See more

Lost dog was killed after one day in shelter. #ExpandAnimalRightsNow #LawTheLawless #AnimalRights ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Source @news12wc : "On Nov. 30, a pet owner went frantically looking for his 16-year-old mastiff Lila, only to discover it was killed hours after turning up in a shelter. Lila was found in a Staten Island park early Saturday morning and brought to the Staten Island Animal Care Cent...er. That same day the dog was sent to the Manhattan location where it was put down. In a video obtained by News 12, the owner is seen and heard telling Animal Care Center of NYC employees "it's not even 24 hours," asking why his animal was killed. The two-minute video shows the owner arguing with employees that his dog was a rescue he got from the ACC at three months old and micro-chipped. The employee in the video responded that the chip "had no phone number" but the owner immediately says "but there was an address correct?" New York State Law does give shelters the authority to euthanize dogs that are suffering. Lost or abandoned dogs are to be held for five days identified strays are to be held for seven." ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lila, Animal ID: #75373 If anyone knows the owners of Lila, have them reach out to us. #AnimalLaw #AnimalLawyers #ShelterDogs #AnimalRightsMovement #AnimalInjustice #Mastiff #DogRescue #StatenIsland #NewYork #StatenIslandShelter #AnimalJustice #ShelterDogsMatter #LostDog #MastiffLovers #SeniorDogs #AnimalLawyer #BrooklynACC #AnneMarieLucas #AnimalCops
