Sassy session and choreo by @hustleandmove was so much fun! Thankful for not breaking my neck while attempting to look sexy Another baby step towards getting out of comfort zone... what’s your step for today?

Session today with the dance genius Mr. @jayjayp16 ..... it is a true mystery to me that this guy is not ridiculously famous yet- both as a dancer and choreographer! But it won’t be long, trust me...and until that happens, I’ll gladly take up some of his time haha...he won’t have time for me soon! But in all seriousness- thank you SO much for today, for your patience and for pushing me to perform, relentlessly cleaning my mistakes, moves that are too big/too small/too weird looking etc! My dancing doesn’t do your choreo justice, but I’ll keep on pushing Do what you love people....life is too precious not to!

It ALL starts with energy! Want to be slimmer, happier, feel more accomplished, less overwhelmed? I bet you anything all the above would be MUCH easier to do if you had more ENERGY, right? Here's what you can do starting NOW to feel more energized:... 1. Eat extremely slowly and mindfully. 2. Allow at least 3.5-4h between meals with no snacking. 3. Get at least 7h of uninterrupted sleep 4. Check your thyroid levels and adrenal gland function with a functional medicine doctor 5. Drink plenty water 6. Start switching processed/junk foods with organic whole foods

YOU GOT THIS AND YOU ARE CAPABLE!!! No need for any fancy shmancy gimmicks, you don't need to be nutrition and/or fitness expert, you don't need to have a track record of success in getting the vitality, energy and body you want. You don't need to have those "lucky genes" or be naturally slim. What you do need is: 1. Ditching all excuses... 2. Believing in your high potential while honoring your body's limitations 3. Taking baby steps with focus on new powerful habit creation instead of all or nothing attitude 4. Take 100% responsibility for YOUR OWN health, body, life and goals. They are yours, nobody else’s. Now let's get you back to being YOU. Stop pretending to be someone else (and that tired, overwhelmed and fed up girl staring back at you in the mirror OBVIOUSLY isn't YOU!) Message me and tell me about YOUR struggle <3 I'm here!

Ditch the excuses!! Here we go .....a little tough love! I totally understand, especially those of you who struggle with stress and exhaustion. These two aren't exactly excuses, but rather true reasons why it's often so very hard to shed some weight. When we get into a high stress situation (and being exhausted is definitely a smooth invitation!), our hormones start going wonky. In short term, adrenaline kicks in and the appetite actually gets suppressed due to body's natural... fight or flight response. HOWEVER - if the stress persists, that's when cortisol levels raise causing us to feel hungry and craving fatty and sugary foods. I often joke that if it wasn't for the stress in my life, I'd be one slim and athletic chick. It just amazes me how different I feel after a few days of good night's sleep and relaxation versus few days of constant kid battles, middle of the night wakings and nagging. Like two different people live inside of me! Is this true for you?? If the answer is YES, then the numero uno priority should definitely be de-stressing and taking care of yourself. Yeah, yeah, I know! Easier said than done. But you know what??? If you want it bad enough you will start paying attention to your body and its needs. This may take time, trial and error, but you WILL get there. They say that it's crucial to focus on the end goal....but you know what? I don't find this to be a great piece of advice. Because when you think of yourself, let's say - slim, energetic, full of life etc....but daily reality reminds you that you are far from all of it....you only get down on yourself and stop believing it will ever happen. I suggest that you instead focus on every 24h in front of you and all the right choices you CAN make. This will inevitably bring you closer and closer to where you want to be :) If you don't know what step to take next....message me and we'll get you back on track! See more

It works for some, but others hate it. No time, too much obsessing and the feeling of deprivation are all reasons why so many of us look for other ways to stay on track to fat loss. I learned years ago that visually comparing foods to your own hand can be extremely helpful. For example: a portion of lean protein can be compared to the size of your palm and portion of veggies can be measured by comparing it to the size of your closed fist. If you are anything like me - woman w...ho has always struggled with weight, has tendency to gain weight easily, feels somewhat addicted to sugar and carbs - these are the portion sizes I recommend: 3 meals per day consisting of: 1 palm size portion of lean protein 1 fist side portion of veggies Small handful of carbs (so it fits in half your open hand) 2 thumb-size portions of healthy fats Add two small snacks, like a protein shake or bar (aim for high quality, diary free with no to little added sugar kind) or yogurt and you're good to go! You survived 100% of your worst days....you will be fine and so will I. We’re not broken even when heart feels like it’s breaking...just receiving another reminder that scar tissue is stronger than skin. Open your heart to gratitude and the greatest struggle can dissolve

When you are stressed and overwhelmed - you can't think straight, let alone understand that there is a lot that you CAN do to bring you closer to the vitality and body yo want. You CAN: 1. Forgive yourself - for all the angry words you likely said...because...overwhelm... 2. Manage stress - MAKE time, just 15 min of uninterrupted time - to meditate, take a bath with lavender or do deep diaphragmatic breathing exercises. 2. Cook just ONE healthy meal in large quantity - it's O...K, you won't die of boredom because you eat the same thing for a few days! And it will help you plan next meals when you feel a little better. 3. Drink a ton of water (you can add lemon too!) - dehydration intensifies stress so drink up to let it go. It's all about perspective - either we cry over all the things that we CAN'T do...or we get creative about what we CAN do.....guess which one will take you a step closer to your goals? ;)

There will NEVER be a perfect time for you to start. There will always be problems, stress, chores, exhaustion from it all....the magic is always in the NOW. Sure - plan a little if you really must, but stop saying you will do it next week, next month etc. When the feeling to do something strikes you MUST ACT right away because this feeling, like all others, will eventually vanish. And you will be left feeling like you keep starting something that you can't finish. You have e...verything you need to go alone and achieve the energy, vitality and body you want... but I get it - it's hard to do it alone! In the next week or so I'll be making announcements about my upcoming launch of the new program....and along with it - an opportunity to sign up as a participant for FREE :) You can message me now if you're interested, but official links to sign up will follow soon! The basic principle of how our brains work! Want to lose a habit? Stop doing it long enough and it will vanish. Want to create a new one? Start doing it consistently and long enough and you'll get onto the autopilot! The same rule goes for that evening snacking, eating a ton of sugary treats or just inappropriate amounts of food. It's time to use your brain to your advantage ;) How can I help you do that today? Message me!

Created this simple choreo today to You owe me by Nas (love this song!). I was challenged recently to really think about WHY I wanted to improve my dancing (all aspects of it) It made me realize that, while reasons are many and it would take too long to get into them all in detail, the one, biggest and most obvious reason is simply that it is my nature. It’s ingrained in me to constantly get better at the things that 1)matter to me 2)will always be a part of my life ...And I realized that it’s really a blessing to be/feel this way. I’ve met so many people who complain about lack of motivation. Whether it’s to do the things they love, to create new habits that will serve them for life, or just to make some kind of meaningful change in general. Yet motivation is just a FEELING It comes and goes just like all other feelings do. It’s unrealistic to expect anyone to always be motivated. What’s far more powerful than motivation is a HABIT Start something (anything), repeat it consistently for long enough and it will become a habit. Maintain the habit for long enough and it will be your second nature. This goes for both small changes, as well as major mind shifts. Today I’d like to challenge you to stop complaining and ditch the wait for motivation to arrive. Start DOING Action will lead to progress, new habits, and new YOU See more

We all know that one guy who's a chain smoker. He visits his doctor and hears "if you don't quit, you'll die". Does he quit? No. Why?? Because his doctor's opinion wasn't the right kind of leverage for this man. Now take the same guy, ask him to take his grandchildren to the park and watch them play. Tell him how much they love him and how devastated they would be to lose his grandpa at this age. Remind him he will lose the most precious moments of his life. Tell him life can... be lived for many more years..... This can be enough to create a breakthrough. Enough is enough. This is it. I quit! No more! This is not me! I want to be there for my loved ones..... See the difference?? Don't beat yourself up if you tried making yourself feel bad about your lack of 'motivation' to change: to follow through on the diet, to quit gross foods, to learn to cook, to invest in health etc. Ask different questions. Figure out what sets your heart on fire and what it will take to feel the 'enough is enough' feeling. Btw- I know how to make you feel 'bad' Book a FREE coaching session with me and I'll show you how to get started See more

Don't let anything distract you from your goals. Keep your eyes fixed on the prize. If you are trying to reach that state of confidence and energy, drop pounds to feel like your true self, have the stamina to chase after your kids - know that you ARE CAPABLE. You must believe in your ability to reach the mindset as well as physique you're hoping for in order to last the marathon. Practice patience and consistency and ask for help when you need it. What is keeping you stuck?

Don’t be afraid to hold on to your dreams. They don’t just seize to exist when you encounter failure. Don’t allow haters and naysayers to have ANY influence on your dreams, other than setting your motivation on !
