Big shoutout to our community and community partners collecting donations for the #CarrFire. Audrey Denney for Congress opened her doors for donations in conjun...ction with 12 Volt Tattoo Chico Ca and Mood Swing Wines coming through with massive donations. We picked up a load from the Chico Children's Museum on our way to Audrey’s office. When we got their our 22’ enclosed trailer was filled to the brim and had to call in more help from our friend Carl with a truck and trailer. Once we hit the road we got a call from Nor Cal Criminal Law, Attorney Susan M. Hearne who offered to pickup all of our expenses and we got to Bethel Church, Redding around 10pm. All the amazing volunteers from American Red Cross and The Salvation Army USA unloaded and sorted both trailers and trucks in less than 20 minutes! It takes a community and glad we could be a part of it! See more

Continued collaboration between Chico Area Recreation and Park District and EBHB is an ongoing process as both organizations are exploring options as to what is the best approach in achieving the joint efforts to improve Butte County. This morning, CARD and EBHB met with Conventions Sports and Leisure to discuss future feasibility studies that will be conducted by CSL, and toured the site location to get a better understanding of the project venue. These conversations are essential to bettering Butte County as a whole, and with many more conversations to come, EBHB is excited for what the future holds!
