Working Student/Traveller EUROPEAN EQUESTRIAN CONCEPTS, SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES Hi, my name is Karen and we are looking for a female appl...icant to come as soon as possible for a 3- 6 month commitment. We’re offering living in a full equipped house on one of the most beautiful places in Southern California! This is a really great opportunity for enthusiastic, self motivated students/travellers to come and work with horses and improve their riding skills. Our area is centre located near many beaches, Los Angeles, San Diego and Disney Land. We are looking for a horse-dedicated person with a friendly demeanor with both staff and clients. We need a person who is comfortable handling young, unexperienced, and large horses. The student should be adept at tacking up horses, grooming, bathing, blanketing, wrapping, and bridles on, as well as general handling skills. Riding is available on an almost daily basis, with lessons from the trainer on a weekly basis but the trainer motivates the students to ride independent and by themselves as well. Our schedule is 9AM to 4PM Tues - Saturday, and 10AM to 12ishPM Sunday. Mondays are a free day. Some days we do work longer or shorter determined by the daily schedule. This is not a money making job but you’re working with a fun crew for sure. We encourage that the applicant have a valid drivers license and require the applicant to be over the age of 18. If you are interested look at my website www.eeconcepts.com where you can find out more information about our program and our former visitors of EEC. www.centerlinescores.com shows current and past competition records. Please send me an email with a description of yourself, general experience, availability, and why you would like to come stay with us. Pictures and videos encouraged. We have had students from Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany in the past. While I am fluent in German, the barn language is English, so we require that the applicant have at least basic English speaking skills and a desire to improve their fluency in the language. The girls tagged in this post lived and worked together with me and they would love to talk to you if you are interested or have any questions! See more

EEC could not be more proud or excited about the results from this weekend. Everyone met their goals and had some fantastic rides. Appreciative judging from Don...na Richardson / Christel Carlson as well. so many constructive comments that give us something to work on before the next show June 16th.
